Information is transmitted only as necessary to provide the requested analysis and operate the service.
PetProbz does not place an OpenAI API key inside the mobile application.
Certain PetProbz features, including pet health records and reminders, may be stored locally on your device.
Local information is subject to the security and backup settings of your device and operating system.
PetProbz may use Apple's local notification system to provide reminders you have requested.

PetProbz relies on trusted third-party service providers to operate parts of the service.
These may include cloud hosting providers, AI processing providers and services supplied by Apple as part of the iOS platform.

PetProbz only accesses photos, videos or the camera when you choose to use a feature requiring that access and have granted the relevant device permission.
Submitted media may be processed remotely when you request an AI analysis.
PetProbz does not require unrestricted access to your photo library simply to use unrelated parts of the application.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information handled through PetProbz.
Internet-based services cannot, however, guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid submitting information that is unnecessary for a PetProbz check.
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service, comply with legal obligations, maintain security, resolve disputes or fulfil legitimate operational requirements.
Information stored locally within the PetProbz application may remain on your device until you remove it, delete the relevant record, or remove the application, subject to device backups and operating-system behaviour.
PetProbz is intended for pet owners and is not designed as a service directed specifically at children.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through PetProbz.
PetProbz is an information and triage aid.
PetProbz does not provide veterinary diagnoses and is not a replacement for professional veterinary advice, examination or treatment.
AI-generated information may be incomplete or incorrect.
If your pet is experiencing severe symptoms, difficulty breathing, collapse, seizures, severe bleeding, rapidly worsening symptoms or appears critically unwell, seek veterinary assistance promptly.
PetProbz may use service providers operating in countries other than your own.
As a result, information submitted for cloud processing may be processed in another country, subject to the safeguards and legal requirements applicable to the relevant service provider.
You can choose whether to submit a photo or video for analysis.
You can manage camera, photo and notification permissions through your device settings.
Where applicable, you may also request information about personal information associated with you, or request its deletion, subject to legal and operational requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy as PetProbz develops or as legal, technical or operational requirements change.
When significant changes are made, the updated policy will be published with a revised Last updated date.
